Blake Lively celebrated New York architecture and artistry with her look. Arriving on the red carpet in a custom Atelier Versace tulle column dress embroidered with crystal, metallic leather, paillette, and tri-tone copper foil duchesse, an oversized foiled bow at the waist unraveled to reveal a second look in Verdigris patina—mirroring the transformation of New York's Statue of Liberty from bronze to oxidized green. The long duchesse train features a hand painted, foiled, and embroidered celestial map inspired by the 12 zodiac constellations decorating the ceiling of Grand Central Station.
Arriving together on the red carpet, Cardi B's outfit was a high-voltage take on Gilded Age high-glamour, with an embroidered dress that took 20 members of the Atelier 1300 hours of hand-craft and a kilometer of golden metal chains to complete.
Donatella Versace wore a custom tulle bustier, inspired by corsetry of the Gilded Age and finished with frayed denim details which extend to the skirt. An embroidery finish of frayed denim, Swarvoski gold crystals, gold-leather, and chains, are in reference to the California Gold Rush era.
