
BUILDING A CULTURE OF SUSTAINABILITY
TEAMS ACROSS VERSACE TAKE PART IN MAKING A POSITIVE CHANGE
Versace’s most important resources are the people who work in its offices every day. A more sustainable Versace means that each employee and collaborator will be informed and empowered to be a change-maker.
This starts with learning: understanding how fashion and luxury impact the world, what it means to be sustainable, and the responsibility we all have both as employees and as citizens of the world. So far, hundreds of Versace people - across headquarters, production offices, and stores - have participated in these trainings.
Next is contribution: creating ideas that make Versace more sustainable, and putting them into action. Water-saving and recycling ideas are being implemented across Versace's headquarter offices. Staff in the showrooms are helping to save energy and use space creatively. Ideas for greener practices and wellbeing are under development at our production facilities.
And finally, continuous engagement: staying informed on what’s happening both inside and outside the Company. Engagement initiatives help the worldwide family of Versace employees to stay on top of sustainability efforts and act as an inspiration for change from within the Company into the world.
